Consultations/Meet and Greet

Each new client request requires a consultation, for a minimal charge, with a Lucky Pawz pet care specialist. Your appointment is the perfect time for you and the pet(s) to get to know your professional pet sitter as well as have an extensive Q&A session. Please prepare and have your keys made and ready to give to your sitter when you meet since to avoid additional fees for follow-up meetings. Be ready to see your pets warm up quickly to our team. They tend to intuitively know we are huge animal lovers and sense we may be their new BFF!

Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services*

We walk your dog or visit your dog/cat/other pet while you are away, busy, or simply need an extra hand. We do not "group walk" dogs with other clients - these are one-on-one visits, providing individual attention to your beloved pets. Each visit is tailored to your pets' specific needs. We follow your instructions for your pet's exercise and feeding regimen in order to maintain their normal routine. Each service includes 2 pets with no extra charge. Our fee structure for 1-2 pets is as follows:

* To prevent possible injury to our walkers, we cannot accept dogs that are not leash-trained.

Overnight Service - $85 per night for established clients**

Ideal for when you are on vacation and want to avoid kennel boarding that can be very stressful on your pet, so why not let us take over? Our overnight pet sitting service ensures your pet's routine isn't compromised, and we can give your pet company in their own familiar home during the evening, late night, and morning rituals. You also have the added benefit of a trustworthy, professional house sitter occupying your house while you are away. Rest easy knowing your home is secure, and your pet has a dedicated, loving companion to keep them company.

Rate is $85 night, which is a 12+hour block of time typically 7pm-7am.*

❤ Overnight care is subject to availability. Booking months in advance, especially during holidays helps ensure your pets tails being covered.

Holiday Surcharge

$10 per visit additional charge for daytime holiday services (not to exceed $20).

A $10 per visit additional charge for overnight services is added for services provided on holidays. As a reminder, most pet care services book up months prior to the holiday, especially overnight pet care, so be sure to book your pet sitting needs far in advance. Full payment will be required if 2 weeks advanced notice is not given for cancellations since we cannot fill your time slot with another client.

Additional Consultations or Meetings

Any meeting or consultation subsequent to the initial appointment that is requested by a client will incur a $17 fee. This includes picking up a key that is not ready at the initial consultation.

Consultations via phone or email are free for updating information.

Key Return - If you would like us to make an additional trip to return your key after your service, an additional $5 fee will be charged for our efforts. Keep in mind, your key will always be locked in a secure safe without identifying information between our visits. It is much easier to accommodate last minute requests or additional services when we have your key on hand.

Less than 24-hour's notice for new customers

A $15 charge may be applied to requests received with less than 24 hours advanced notice, depending on the level of effort required for scheduling. It takes a great deal of time and rush planning to initiate and follow through our process in setting up new clients which includes a last minute meet and greet.

Cancellations

We understand life happens and we can't always prepare ourselves for what is to come. We understand this and try to be flexible. However, we appreciate advance notice on any cancellations.

Please contact us as soon as possible to make the necessary changes. We will make all efforts within reason to accommodate, but much advance notice is appreciated, especially overnight care since it is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don't cancel one week before your scheduled pet sitting services (two weeks before holiday services) full payment will be required since we do not have adequate time to fill your time slot with another client. Thank you in advance for your consideration. If we arrive to your home and find our services are not needed, we still need to charge for the visit. Thank you for being mindful of our time by allowing adequate time for cancellations.

Payment Methods Accepted

We accept checks and electronic payments, such as Venmo or Zelle. Vacation pet sitting requires a 50% deposit due upon booking which will guarantee our services. The remainder of the bill is due a week before the beginning of the assignment. For monthly clients, we invoice at the end of the month the service is performed.
