How do I setup a meet and greet with a fabulous pet nanny?

After your initial inquiry on booking care, we will match you up with the perfect sitter to best meet your needs who will contact you directly by phone or email within 24 hours.

Will there be multiple pet sitters tending to my pets?

The pet nanny we initially match you up with will be your sitter for the duration of the visit unless other arrangements have been made prior. We only have backup sitters in place for emergencies to ensure a continuation of care.

How do I set up my profile with my pet(s)/home care information?

When you first book services with us, we set you up into our electronic database called, “Leashtime”. Leashtime  will send you a username and password to login and create your profile. On rare occasions Leashtime’s email may go to your Spam folder if your settings are high, so be sure to check that folder if you haven’t seen your initial email. Please fill in your information to the fullest, as extensive detail and information is extremely helpful in providing care. Leaving additional notes for your sitter at your home is also encouraged.

Will I be able to see my upcoming schedule?

You bet, as soon as you finalize your schedule, we will enter it into your Leashtime Profile, and you can view it at any time. Please make sure your schedule matches ours. It's always helpful to check in a few days before departure date to update any changes and touch base with us.

What if I need to cancel or add visits?

We try to be as flexible as we can, as we understand life happens and things come up. Please contact us as soon as possible to make the necessary changes. We will make all efforts within reason to accommodate, but much advance notice is appreciated, especially overnight care since it is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not cancel one week before your scheduled pet sitting services, (2 weeks before holiday services) full payment will be required since we do not have adequate time to fill your time slot with another client. Daily dog walking clients not applicable if cancelled before we arrive at visit with the exception of holidays. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Will I receive updates during your stay with our pets?

Definitely, if you would like updates on your pets progress, please inform your sitter during the meet and greet if you would like text or email updates. As always, we will leave journal notes keeping you posted on furry child progress.

How can I pay for my services?

Vacation pet sitting requires a 50% deposit due upon booking which will guarantee our services. The remainder of the bill is due when our services are complete. For monthly clients, we invoice the beginning of the following month of services. If you would like to take care of your bill immediately, contact home office at care@luckypawzpetcare.com, and we will promptly send it out.  

What are the prices of your services?

Overnight pet care is $65/night. 30 minute and hourly visits run $20 and $30. If you are a weekly dog walking client, rates run $18 and $28. If you have more than 2 pets, we charge an additional $4/per service. Holiday surcharges are $10 per service not to exceed $20/day. The entire holiday surcharge goes directly to your sitter for their convenience. 

What are your qualifications?

Lucky Pawz Pet Care is licensed, bonded, and insured. All of our sitters have extensive experience and knowledge regarding animals and pet care. We all do this due to a lifelong passion for animals, and genuinely love to care for your pets. It’s not always the easiest job, but it’s by far the most gratifying and rewarding. We will love and care for your pets as if they were our own.

Do you give referral bonuses?

Of course we do! We appreciate you very much for recommending others to us, and a referral is the highest form of flattery. We would love to offer you a free 30 minute visit for any one of your friends who books with us.
